An exciting last night of regular season games for QC 3 Girls Flag team. The first game against Stonepark was close - Maizie Wakelin had the first touchdown of the game with Alexis Barrett getting the second for the team and Maizie Wakelin getting the third including the two point conversion. We were just short of the win by a touchdown! 25-20 was the final score. The second game against QC 2 saw Maizie Wakelin score two more touchdowns, Meredith Craswell had two touchdowns and Hannah Costa had a touchdown to round out the score to 30 -16. The competitive nature between the two teams was alive and well. Amazing flagging by Ashyele Yankey, Faredah Ibiyeye, Emma Chaloner and Ada Demirbas. Rusher Alice Peterson kept both teams on their toes. Callie Deacon had some great catches, and QB Norah Cameron did a great job fighting against the wind. Your coaches are very proud of you - go Coyotes!

Reminder to all Grade 9 students that Semi-formal tickets will be on sale again today during lunch by the Cafeteria. Tickets are $30. Tomorrow (Thursday) is the final day to buy tickets here at QC. Online sales will continue until the absolute final deadline, May 29th. After this date, no further tickets will be sold, and no names will be added to the list.
