With teacher’s permission, can all grade 9 EAL students go to room 203 in the specialist hallway for first period.
We are looking for people to join the yearbook committee for this year’s book. The yearbook is a record of everything that happens in a school year and it is made by students, for students. It is not the teachers, the administration, or other adults in the building who make this – it is all student driven.
We are looking for people who can take pictures, write stories, design layouts, and a lot more.
It can be a lot of fun – it’s all done on computers and is a great way to see everything that happens in the building.
It is important that we have representation from all grades so that we present a book that is a good representation of the student body.
There is an information meeting today at 12:30 in Tech Ed (in the specialist wing). This is where you will get more information, get all the details and decide if you want to apply to join. If you are wondering if this is for you – come to the meeting. It does not mean that you are committing, just that you want more information. All grades are welcome! Hockey Skills Sign Up – If any student at Queen Charlotte is interested in signing up for the Hockey Skills program this year please sign up either at the gym bulletin board by Mr. Ward’s classroom (Rm 117) in grade 7 or by Mr. Phelan office (Rm 218) in the grade 9 hallway. The golf team will practice today from 3:15 -4:00. Please meet in Mr. Ward’s room 117 with your 7 iron and putter.

The QC boys baseball roster will be posted at break time today on the gym bulletin board. The coaches would like to thank those who came out to tryouts this week. There will be a team baseball practice tomorrow from 3:30-5 at City Diamond in Victoria Park.
