Girls Softball Playoff Game vs EWS @ 4:00 pm at Queen Elizabeth Field
The QC2 AAB secured a spot in the Provincials with two decisive wins. In the first game the offense was firing on all cylinders and overwhelmed Stonepark. In the second game the team took control of the game early and didn't look back defeating Montague to secure their spot in Provincials. It was a true team effort with multiple players putting in solid efforts on both sides of the ball.
QC1 is storming into provincials thanks to a dominant performance on both sides of the ball. It was a true team effort with everyone contributing materially. Max Jreije terrorized the opposing team’s QB and Simon Silvaggio blanketed the deep zone which led to impressive interceptions from Lucas Matte and 2 from Maks Robison. Jonah Lawlor led on offense with several long TDs from Kaleb MacEachern and Levi Hickey.
The AAG won their game against Birchwood. Losing by one point after the first half, the girls came in strong during the second half with 22 points to win the game! Phoebe Lecoure lead the offence with 4 touchdowns and 1 conversion follow by Adele Saunders with 1 touchdown and 1 conversion. Emma Ghiz did 2 interceptions and one safety. All the girls played very hard, with that win, they will play for a chance to win the provincials today at 5:40 and 6:30 in Summerside.
Athletic Banquet on Friday, June 12th during 3rd period for all athletes who played a sport this school year.
