Intramurals will be for Grade 9 today.

Last night in flag football action the AA girls Had a scoreless contest against East Wiltshire in a defensive battle. Hallie Schaffner and Cheyanne Howatt led the charge defensively. 

They then defeated Montague 13 to 6.  Quarterback Scarlett Shaffner found Elin Reardon in the end zone and Frances Manning had a pick 6 to secure the win.

On the AA boys side, QC1 fell to Montague in their season opener but had strong play from running back Will Potter and rusher Harry Nguyen. QC1 rebounded to defeat EWS 26 to 19 with a key touchdown from Quarterback Hayden Curry to Lacey Hillier and an interception from David Knickle in the end zone.

QC2 opened the season with a tie against Stonepark.  Miguel Cuma and Jace Collins both played very strong games.

QC2 came up short against Montague and their second match of the day. Ronan Lannigan made key stops on defense in the contest. 

The Grade 8 EAL Writing Assessment will be happening during first period in the Cafeteria. All Grade 8 EAL students should go to the cafeteria for first period. Good luck!

There will be a drama rehearsal today from 3-4 in the library. Please let Mrs. Giggey know ASAP if you are not able to attend.

This Thursday, May 9th we will have a QC school dance from 7:00 – 9:30 pm. $5 at the door.  Stay tuned for the dance theme to be revealed!
