Flag Football Tryouts will take place in the gym until the fields outside are opened. Girls tryouts will be on Wednesday April 15th 3-430pm, and Thursday April 16th 430-6pm.
Boys tryouts will be on Wednesday April 15th 430-6pm, Thursday April 16th 3-430, and Friday April 17th 330-5pm.
Good luck to grade 7 and 8 EAL students who are completing their EAL assessments this week. Due to assessments, there will not be regularly scheduled EAL classes this week. EAL teachers will come to get students when it is their time to be assessed.
Exciting news! There will be a school dance on Thursday evening from 7:00 – 9:00, and the theme is “Neon” $5 admission. We hope to see everyone there!
Mme Ward and M. Duguay have received the results from Engineers PEI’s 31st Bridge Building Competition. The competition took place on Friday, April 2nd at the Royalty Crossing Mall.
Queen Charlotte School swept the Junior Division of the competition: Congratulations to the following groups of students:
1st place and $50 prize in the junior division and 3rd place overall in the competition : Luke Ha, Mark Uviejitobor, Lucas Pham & Lucas Han.
2nd place and $30 prize in the junior division and 8th place overall in the competition : Vivian Nguyen & Esther Trinh.
3rd place and $20 prize in the junior division and 10th place overall in the competition : Ella Graham, Brielle Campbell & Charlotte Smith.
Congratulations to the winners and to everyone who entered a bridge in the competition, Queen Charlotte School has won for the 2nd year in a row, the $500 School Participation Award for being the school with the most quality bridges entered in the competition, with 26 of 80 bridges submitted.
