Throwing events today at lunch at 12:25. All throwers not including Javelin, please get some throws in. ** Any bantam boys still looking for a track event? We have three spots available still! Come today at 12:25 to try it out. The meet is on May 25th!
QC Girls Softball won their first game, 6-5, over East Wiltshire yesterday! All players contributed to a strong outing, with special shoutouts to Ashlyn Bishop with 16 strikeouts and Mya Kells with 3 hits! There will be practice from 3:30 to 5:00 pm today at QE Field 1.
QC 3 Girls Flag team had two exciting games. The first was a close 22-20 loss against Morell. Kaitlin MacLean pulling double duty for offense and defence got two touchdowns, and an interception. Maizie Wakelin got the two point conversion on the first touchdown. Meredith Craswell also got a touchdown. The first win of the season against Francois Buote had Hannah Costa starting on the scoresheet with her first touchdown of the season.Maizie Wakelin had two touchdowns, and QB Norah Cameron scored her first touchdown with Callie Deacon as the QB for the play. Alexis Barrett had the two point conversion on the final touchdown. Kaitlin MacLean and Ashyele Yankey both had interceptions this game. Excellent defensive play and flagging by Emma Chaloner, Faredah Ibiyeye and rusher Alice Peterson.
