Daily Announcements – Thursday, September 17, 2026 – Day 2

Practice Schedule:
AA and A Girls Volleyball Practice, 3:30 – 5:00 pm today

Cross Country practice, 3:15 – 3:45 (please meet at Gr 7 entrance/triple doors)

A Boys Soccer Team 1, 2:00 – 3:00 practice @ Colonel Gray Field (Dismiss students at 1:45 pm)

A Boys Soccer Team 2, 6:00 – 7:30 practice @ Winsloe Soccer Field

A Girls Soccer tryout 3:30 – 5:00pm at Spring Park

Boys Baseball practice, 4:00-5:30 @ City Diamond

Grade 8 intramurals will take place today at 12:25 in the gym.

Any students interested in scorekeeping for volleyball this year, please meet today at 12:15 in Madame Philips room in the grade 7 hallway.

EAL writing assessments for EAL students in grade 9 (except 9H) will take place today during period 1 in the art room. Students should check in with their classroom teacher before heading down.

Reminder to all students that the  'school food lunch' orders are due Thursday at noon. If you want a lunch, you must place an order as extras are limited. There is instructions with a QR code on how to order on the wall by the cafeteria. 

We would like to remind Grade 9 students and parents that there is an information meeting about the Grade 9 trip to Quebec & Ottawa tonight (Thursday ), September 17th at 7:00pm.  Following our “Meet the Staff” event at 6:00pm.

Any students interested in participating in the QC book club are asked to come to the library at morning break on Friday.

The Terry Fox walk will be held on Friday September 18th! In efforts to support the walk the best way possible, we will be fundraising to support Cancer research. Donations can be made through School cash online or by bringing in change to your homeroom teacher.  Each homeroom class will be collecting funds for the cause and will have until September 25th to get their donations in.  The class with the most raised in each grade level will be winning their homeroom an Ice cream party!  Let's Go Coyotes!! https://tinyurl.com/QCTerryFoxDonation2026

Any students interested in this year’s theatre production of Peter Pan are asked to meet in room 229 on Tuesday, September 22nd.  Students interested in prop design and sets are encouraged to attend as well.
