Congratulations to Alex Forbes in 9G who has set a new school record for the dragster races with a time of 1.04 seconds, a speed of 69.23 km/hr and a car which had a mass of 40g including wheels, and who beat Mr. Taggart in the final race.
Any student who did not get a yearbook but thought they ordered one should see Mr. Taggart at lunch today.
There are a limited number of extra yearbooks provided by the yearbook publisher and they will be available to grade nine students at 12:10 on Wednesday. If there are extras after that, they will be available to grade seven and eight students on Thursday at 12:10.
The softball team is reminded of your playoff game today. They will host East Wiltshire at the QE field at 4:30. All players are asked to be ready for warm up at 4:00. Good luck Coyotes!
The girls "A" flag football team plays at their first semi-final game at 5:00 today at Francois Buote field. The girls are reminded to bring their yellow jerseys for the game and to arrive ready for warm up at 4:30. Good luck girls.
QC2 defeated Montague to advance to the next round of playoffs next week in Summerside. The team had to dig deep for the win with strong play from Amiel Megalong, Duncan McIntyre, Xavier Dirnberger and QB Landon MacLellan. QC2 will practice tomorrow after school.
In flag football playoff action QC1 defeated East Wiltshire but were unable to get past Stonepark in their second game.
Will White made several flags, and quarterback Keifer Dunn found Nate MacDonald, Seth Gauthier and Zach Harris for touchdowns. Hats off to the QC1 team for an incredible and successful season.
