Basketball Schedule for today:
AA Girls practice 3:30 - 5:00
AA Boys practice  5:00 – 7:30

AA Boys basketball advanced to the provincial finals this Sat @4pm in Summerside with a 77-48 win over over Stonepark in the semis last night. Teams scoring distribution, Josh Lawlor -28 Lachy Hillier -27, David Knickle -5

There will be a meeting at morning break today for any U14 BOYS (Gr 7 or 8) interested in playing Spring Volleyball. The cost is $70 to register, and the season is March 19-early May. The meeting is just to sign up and give your parents email, so you can get more info and register. 

Badminton Club will be starting on Tuesday March 12th.  All students are welcome! It will run every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 3-430pm.  Please sign up in the PE Hallway and take a release form home to get signed, and returned to Ms Arsenault’s office door.  The School team will be chosen via tournament between all club players.  You MUST return your release form to attend the club please.

Reminder there will be no morning gym this week. Students are having a hard time being dismissed from the gym when the bell rings at 8:35, and have not been putting equipment away properly. Morning gym will continue next Monday March 11th and we will try again. 

This is the last day for Ski forms and money to be  given to Mme Rowley (rm 222) during the first 10 minutes of lunch only please.  

There will be a STOMP meeting today (Wednesday) at 12:25 in Mrs. MacDougall-Hambly’s room. 

March is Engineers month, Mme Ward and Ms Susan are offering to meet with any students interested in building popsicle stick bridges for the Engineers PEI Bridge Building Competition.  The meeting will be today at 12:25 in room 110, Mme Ward’s classroom. Materials will be provided, come prepared to work and have fun while learning the basics of bridge building.  Due to this activity, the games room will be closed Wednesday and Thursday of this week. Any questions feel free to speak with Mme Ward or Ms Susan. 

We still have some beautiful art pieces left in the office from last week’s student art display.  Please come and pick yours up if you’d like to take it home.
